The Trappist was established in 2007 in Oakland, CA.

We wanted to create a place that offered all the things we loved about our beer adventures in Belgium. We aim to honor the brewing monks, the pouring rituals, the age-old traditions and,

of course, the beer.

Our focus is to provide an incomparable experience: from the service and knowledge to the atmosphere and meticulously curated selection of beer.
